Theo Jansen Walker

Carbonfiber Theo Jansen Walker

This walker is constructed from laser cut Baltic Birch laminated with carbonfiber.

Taking advantage of this extra strength allowed for the removal of the horizontal supports for the legs.  This let me change the shapes of the parts to be based on tangents.

Bow Chair

Bow Chair

The Bow Chair is constructed from Baltic Birch laminated with fiberglass for strength.

One of the properties of its construction is the low center of gravity for the occupant.  This is a result of the low placement of the seating inside the bow. As a result, when the weight is shifted from one side to another, the forces being applied are no longer uniform causing the chair to correct itself.

Shampoo and Conditioner Bottle

Blow Molded Shampoo and Conditioner Design

Purposefully designed to be mass produced via blow molding. These shampoo and conditioner bottles are meant to standout in their untraditionaly "bottle" shape.

With the opening on the bottom the contents are always guaranteed to be easily accessible regardless of the amount left.

Time as a Constant

Time Constant through the ages

An mechanical pocket watch with a fractured digital display overlay. As the hands on both mechanical and digital move as one, how you read the time changes. This reflects the relationship of change and time. How both become different but while remaining true to their origins.
